Try Lion Pose to release anger when trying to conceive. This may look like a funny pose, but there is a method to our madness! Lion pose (simhasana) allows the release of anger, stress and anxiety, you literally roar it out of the body. Before you start have a think about what you need to let go of (eg, guilt, sadness, anger, fear). Sit back on the heels with the knees wide. Turn your palms towards you and roll the shoulders away from the ears so the spine is long. Inhale and tilt your head back so that the throat is stretched. Turn your gaze up to your 3rd eye. Open your mouth wide and stick your tongue out as far as it will go. Roar loudly, making a ‘haaaa’ sound releasing the negative emotion from the body. Drop the chin as you roar so that the throat is closed. Release and take a moment to notice how this feels.
